i hooked it ,only difference is the ground,so i grounded it to the chasis.it says that with the jumper on the lower pins,the LED should be on,but its not,it dosnt come on till i turn the key.after turning the key,it goes through learning fine,but after trying to start,it wont.almost like its not holding it memory,like it needs constant power and not getting it.

not too familiar with that paticular model but usually power wire goes to constant and negative goes to negative output from remote start while remote starting usually on most manauls it goes to wire that says for example -300ma output......

It looks like it is supposed to have constant, the purple and purple white.
