hey i was wondering how come the shock sensor on the 750 cant be mounted upside down? it said something about impossible to adjust. i actually got it mounted upside down but i can still adjust the thing but i dont know if the sensitivity on it changed at all. my friends was like pushing my car around and kicking the tires and it didnt even go off. i had to really beat on the window for it to go off. so then i put the sensitivity all the way up but nothing changed. is it because its mounted upside down?

I would be leaning more toward to your placement, and how it was affixed to the vehicle.

Unless, you open the unit up and inside you find a suspended rubber band with a magnet, then you are indeed in for some erractic behaviour and fun.

The standard is peizeo electonic pick up.

so if i turned it right side up, it would be better off? my friend said something like if it had some type of mercury thing for the sensor then it needs to be right side up.

If the unit is using a mercury based material within, then yes you need to install the unit according to the makers directions.

Normally mercury switches are used as tilt sensors, but Ungo and a few other manufactures have employed mercury type sensors to detect impact as well.

You wont know untill you verify the unit with documentation, or by opening up the unit.

the documentation doesnt not say anyhting of wat the shock sensor is made of it just says do not mount upside cuz it will be impossible to adjust. it does not give reasons to why its impossible to adjust.

the 750 has a shock sensor not a merc. i would try a new location . kicking the tire is a bad way to check for sensitivity after all yous have shocks that will absorb the shock
