I have an Astrostart RS on my 2002 F-150. I am not sure of the model, but it is the 6-button remote. It was installed when the truck was new. The problem I am having is that the parking lights do not flash when the engine starts, and the horn doesn't honk after starting either. Although the horn will work when pressing the two buttons on the remote at the same time to play the tune. Any ideas? Is it just something I need to re-program? I have the install manual for the RS.

Did the horn honk and the parking lights work before ? Did you do anything or replace anything in the last little while since this started happening ? Do the lights turn on at all now ?

the horn only honks when you press the start button if the engine is already running by the rs. It will also honk if you press the lock button a second time.
