I've had a few in the past, but then I installed a fuse on the parking light wire ( PURPLE ). What model number are you haveing troubles with ? I have never liked the CS units personally. They have had many ups and downs with their products as far as quality and reliability.

There is a jumper on the inside of the module to swtich from negative to positive parking lights. The earlier models used a poor jumper that caused this to occur if used in the positive position. Use a small female spade for a jumper. The newer models use an insualted one similar to what is used for many negative speaker terminals.

Well considering command start went bankrupt years back and the name was bought by automobility.
I've had CS2400/2500's latch the starter relay and burn up starters and batteries.

Awwwww.... c'mon... they weren't that bad. You always knew when a 2400/2500 was on its way out by how often it would go into tach lockout hee hee!. Seriously though, the 290, 270, 260 were quite solid, even the early 300's weren't bad. They were simple, they worked. The later 300 series were when things started to go really bad (starting by them selves with no way to shut them off... remotes that would just up an start transmitting full bore out of the blue, timer modes that didn't exist etc. etc.)
I even remember the 3000 series... those MOSFET curses with the book sized brain......
