Recently, I installed a Autopage Remote Starter onto a 2003 GMC Savana. After all the connection done, I remote started the car, the car was started for a second and shut down with a diagram showing "a car with a lock" on the panel of the car. For sure the car is not equipped with an immobiliser. I have inserted the key into the key cylinder,the same result occurred.
Please help me to identify this problem.

It does have an immobilzer. Its called Passlock II. Puting the key in the ignition won't help you. Passlock II requires the cylinder to be turned to create a resistance that allows the vehicle to start. Get a 555L from DEI to bypass it.
