I installed a 555L into a 02 Cavaliar.
Everything works great except when the vehicle remote starts, the "security" and "service" indicators light up but the vehicle still starts. When started with the key, no lights come on. Is this a problem with the bypass?

2 questions.
1) The 02 Cavalier is PasslockII, not PasslockI. Therefore, you do not require the bulb check and the negative start input on the 555L.
2) You powered up the brown second accessory, right? There is no second Ignition..... you should have 2 red 12V, a pink ignition, a yellow or purple starter, an orange accessory, and a brown accessory at the keyswitch.
That is all I have for info for now.

brown accesory isn't really needed for RS
if you hook up the purple and BLACK/ white wires on the 555L you will get the sec and service light come on.

brown accy powers the cluster from what I've seen on the Sunbird/Cav.... I just power it up just in case. Never know.
