what is the correct wiring for progressive unlock using a five wire reverse polarity system. viper 350hv on a 88 silverado.

Starting w/ https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#5w, but substitute your alarm's 2nd stage unlock wire for "alarm (-) unlock output" in the diagram.

Then, run the alarm's unlock output into the driver's side door, and do the same thing on the driver's door lock motor.

Of course (as I just discovered perusing the manual), your alarm doesn't have progressive door unlock. However, you could still use one of your extra channels to substitute for either wire above. Wouldn't be as convenient as hitting unlock twice, but you'd be able to unlock just the driver's door when needed...

For instance, hook the RED / white channel 2 wire in the driver's door and the unlock wire where it says in the diagram. The pressing and holding the aux button unlocks just driver's door (but doesn't disarm alarm!!!), and pressing unlock unlocks everythng. Not a very great solution, I'll admit.
