My ESP tells me it's a 1999 Honda Civic : It's the BLACK /WHITE wire at the ignition switch and this isalso extends to the actual starter solenoid by the engine.

if you have a volt tester.  the stater wire should test, 0volts in off, accessory and in the ignition position,  12 volts during start only. hope this can help.  then go back to 0volts when started.

Well, my ESP is telling me its a 2002 coupe (I got that from his name). I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess a Dodge Stratus.

Hey JWorm, good point, but I just checked his profile and found previous posts asking about the same thing for his Civic.  I guess we'll wait until he posts back and we can help him further
