I've been reading this forum for several days now... well, actually for the past week, doing my home work and prepping myself for my upcoming 791xv install.
I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, auto-trans.
I've read the viper install manual several times and am lost one of the harnesses... The "remote start primary harness", 7-pin connector.
1 - Programmable IGN2/ACC2 Relay Turn-on [pink/white]
2 - (+) Ignition Input to Alarm
3 - (-) 200mA Ignition Relay Turn-on [pink]
4 - (-) 200mA Accessory Relay Turn-on
5 - (-) 200mA Starter Relay Turn-on [purple]
6 - (-) Antigrind/Ground when Armed Output [ORANGE / black]
7 - (-) 200 mA Status Output
From that, I've gathered:
1 = To Defroster wire/relay (to start the rear defroster when the RS is activated)?
7 = to the 556U "blue" wire.
But, where do the other wires go? Are these optional relays?
If I wire #1 goes to the defroster relay/switch, then on the "secondary" remote start harness, where does (H3/1) [blue/white] "(-) 200mA 2nd Status/Rear Defogger-Latched/Pulsed" go to, if anywhere?
Also, on the "Key Switch Interface" harness, there is one wire, "#2 Onboard Starter Kill (Key Side)". Is there such a thing on my car?
Thanks!

That harness is the ribbon harness that activates the main xtreme capacity relay module. It just goes from the brain to the relay box then the relay box actually has another little harness that gives status output signal and others. I didnt touch it on my install. The starter kill relay is integrated into that module also.
