Just spent the day under the dash of a tC with the viper 560 xv.  The alarm works fine but the remote start is giving me problems.  When I trigger it, the power comes on, all the accessories power up like normal, but when it seems like its suppossed to crank,

-nothing-

it cylces thru three times and gives up.  The built it diagnostics says "low or no RPM"  i think it might be the immobilizer bypass- a DEI 556U.  Im not sure if the antenna is placed where it should be.I followed all the instructions as best I could, but i still havent connected the keysense wire or power locks.  Could have anything to do with it?  Also i notice a line on the wiring diagram for the tc that says "motor unlock" and "motor lock"  what are these for?  i get the feeling that might be it

thanx.

put the key in the ig. and try to remote start the car...if it starts then you dont have the by-pass working right....

... I should have mentioned that, tried it, didn't do anything.

Also tried the key im using in the bypass box, to make sure it works, and it does.  is there anyway to check to see if the bypass module is working other than checking voltage at the harness?

Check and see if this car has two crank wires (like nissan), also you may need to hook up the keysence wire... The motor lock and motor is refering to the doorlocks (motorside)......
