Any help would be great! Thanks.

You can usually find the wire in the drivers kick panel in the harness going to the rear on Ford trucks. It will be BLACK/ pink as stated above.

As mentioned check both driver and passenger side door sills 99% of the time you can find this wire coming up one side.. I would bet on the driver side on a ford. (BLACK/ pink is the correct color)

Hey Saleen49, the AG4 uses the reverse light as a trigger to turn off the remote start I think. Guess they figure if the brake lights won't shut it down the rev. will. My first AG4, never hooked up this wire on other alarms.
I spun out this morning on wet pavement. The truck fishtailed and went up on a curb. Front was facing into traffic, early almost no traffic. Snapped the left rear wheel off when it hit the curb. The axle rode on top of the rim into some grass. Just missed a firehydrant and a light pole. Thank God the rim carried the rear half of the truck other wise there would have been some heavy undercarrage damage. No injuries or other cars. Time to call the insurance company. Just paid off the truck 2 days ago. So I need a Harley Rim and tire, a new spindle, new rotor, rear caliper. And that's just the suff I can see. I was lucky!

Thanks for the assistance on the BLACK/ pink! Another quick question, The guides say the disarm defeat wire is pink/orange and is found in the passenger kick. Couldn't find it. Found it at the VSM. Found a few other locations that were off. Could this be due to my truck having the keyless entry feature?

Always thankfull for everyone's help!

Why would you need the disarm defeat wire if you are installing an AG4?
You may want to hook up to the factory alarm disarm wire, if your truck has a factory alarm. They are two totally different things.

Before starting I wanted to find all the wires listed for my vehicle. Haven't done an alarm in a while. Been doing audio installs. My last alarm was a Python 2000HF.
Guess I should have picked an easier model than the AG4.
So what is the purpose of the disarm defeat wire? Had that pink/orange on my list but didn't have anything written next to it. Is it strange that this wire wasn't found where it is listed to be?

"So what is the purpose of the disarm defeat wire? Had that pink/orange on my list but didn't have anything written next to it."
This is used for factory add on remote start/alarm units so that the interior door lock switches won't disarm the alarm, or start the car.
"Is it strange that this wire wasn't found where it is listed to be?"
That wire is the passenger door unlock motor wire. It comes in from the pass door boot and it may go up which is why you might not have found it. I usually find them in the drivers door sill harness when I need them..
