I'm doing a remote start in a 2004 Frontier. I'm going with a Valet 561T so I can use my factory remote. I have 2 starter wires and have found by searching that I need to add a relay to power up the second wire. I found this diagram.

I'm just not sure where the terminal 86 wire goes. Can someone give me a better idea where to put this wire.

Also if anyone has experience with this vechicle. If they have any tips I would appreciate it.

86 goes to your alarm not your car, it should be a small guage blue and white wire I believe, I think Valet calls it a 200ma status wire, you could also use a ground when armed wire or even ground if you don't have a ground when running or status wire.

I'm not doing an alarm, just a remote start.  I still don't understand where the 86 terminal wire goes.

Just ground it. The relay won't activate unless there's a 12 volt signal from the primary starter wire any way.
