Just installed a keyless entry and remote start on my 97 F150 and I wanted to say thanks for all the useful info found here!!

I bought a Code Alarm 435 at Circuit City and just couldn't bear the thought (or money costs) of having them install it so I decided to tackle it myself, after to afternoons and numerous searchs here, I found the anwers to all my problems from prev posts.  I do have to say that if I had it to do over again, I would have a professional installer do the job, but I am pleased that I was able to do it, remote start is not for the faint at heart and I wouldn't recomend self installation to just anyone.

Now since I saved the installation cost I bought the optional Songbird for the Code Alarm system, anyone know the in's and out of it?  I got it stuck on the "Pink Panther" theme when I pressed the unlock remote button at 10:30 at night, which I am sure my neighbors didn't enjoy too much!!  It would be nice that Code Alarm would provide a little more info on it's operation but perhaps the "professional" installer shops for Code Alarm would pass this inportant info along to their customers!!
