I don't exactly see the problem. The 600HF is not a remote start so you don't need to worry about the chip in the key and onstar has no effect on anything but audio. There is no real reason to worry about the factory alarm, it shouldn't have any problems with the aftermarket alarm.

Post specifics and answers will be easier to come up with.

Here is the tech notes.

Thanks AUEX   I am all over everything when it comes to audio/video install, but my alarm skills are still kinda rough.   I should work on that, haha      I know alot of new cars are a pian in the butt, so i figured I would ask before I hack..Thanks

It should be a pretty simple install.

well I just read over those 2 things, still kinda confused.     do I have to use the vats immobilizer?   I am not putting any kind of remote start in I just want to bypass the alarm period, the factory alarm is acting up. On one it says disarm defeat, will this completly bypass it?   In the manual for the alarm it has nothing for bypassing alarms like in my 550esp, thanks for any help

Document 1049 is only needed when using a remote start. Disarm defeat is actually for a keyless entry add-on alarm. It is technically the passenger's door unock motor wire and not a factory alarm disarm wire.

Why exactly do you think the factory alarm is acting up?

well assuming its just a lose connection, but he is putting quite a bit of equipment in there and wants something better then the factory alarm anyways. When you reach in from outside and open the door nothing,   sometimes it will go off though,    no impact alarm or anything, so he is just worried about his equipment . Thanks again for the help
