  I am just letting you know about crimestopper. I installed the CS-2016FM alarm with remote start. I works fine except the LCD remote some times lights up when its in my pocket and the battery wears down and needs changing often. there is a button built into the side of it and when you press the side button it lights up and shows the status of the car alarm. But I found that if you just squeeze the remotes case anyplace it will light up, thats why if I have it in my pocket it comes on by it's self.

   I might have a defective remote and tried calling crimestopper. You get a recording, If you are a dealer you dial one ext. if you are a consumer you dial another ext. and you get a voice mail where you leave your name and number but they haven't called me back in 3 weeks.

    I learned my lesson and am sharing it with you.

IF YOU BUY A CRIMESTOPPER ALARM YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!!

Has anyone else had any luck getting help from crimestopper?

Leave a VMX for Larry in tech support. Or ask for Mike in the RMA department. They will help you with your problem(s).
