I previously posted a message, than you very much Velocity.  Everything went well with the installation. Am i correct do the 97 civics have the door circuits connected to the O.E. radio (to cut down on costs)? If thats the case is there any other way of connecting the door trigger input wire.  I found the wire GREEN/ red, but there is no current running thrue the wire and also the car has an aftermarket radio.

thanks Luis

The wire can also be found in a light green plug above the fuse box or bottom of drivers kick, harness to rear. For dome supervision use lt. GREEN/ black at factory alarm/keyless plug. The 1997 Civic's didn't have the door circuit through the radio ( not to my knowledge ). This wasn't implemented until 1999 - 2000 on select vehicles.
