I did an '05 F-350 and I had the same problem...but it was only temporary and when I finished the install it went away. I think it may have something to do with the Ford's system of keeping you from locking the keys in the truck. Did you have the key in the ignition when you pressed the lock button? I know that I did not have the key in the ignition and it still unlocked the door. I was unable to repeat this after it stopped unlocking the driver's door to know why it happened in the first place.
Was your SD install a diesel? If so: which wires (color) did you use for your ignition(s) and accessory??? All of the diagrams that I had said to use the WHITE/ yellow for IGN1 but there was no wire that color available. Also, I have read several sources that the GREEN / WHITE wire for the tach signal that is located under the dash near the E-brake is not available on the '05 like it is for earlier models. But on my '05 the wire IS still available and that is what I used for the tach signal.

figured it out, when we hooked up the relay to shut down the rap system, it was recognizing it as a door opening with a key and unlocking the driver's door
