I have a 2001 F-250 Superduty with factory keyless entry. The previous owner had a Ultra Start U-1500 installed, no dome light supervision (older model). I would like to trigger the factory dome light supervision (stays on for about 30 sec) with the ultra start fob. I think I have read that you can run a diode off the negative door trigger back to a module? A pulse relay timer is also another possability but I wanted to check it out with everyone here.

Honestly, not sure if that is possible, you would have to get a timed relay for that.

Have you looked at:

https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page4.asp

Look at the diagram for negative door triggers. If your alarm has an output, hook that up where the diagram says negative door trigger. If it doesn't, use the lock wire of your alarm (I think I remember that your car has negative lock wires), appropriate diode-isolated...
