I'm installing a Clifford Solaris 5 alarm in my 90 Integra.  I'm swapping it out from my old Clifford Ace 7500 that crapped out on me.  I'm trying to hook up the remote start to my manual transmission vehicle, and have a question.  The blue/green wire when installed on a manual transmission is supposed to go to the parking brake.  They say I need to use the wire that is grounded when the parking brake is set and +12V when teh parking brake is not set.  Well I found one wire hooked up to my parking brake, and it just grounds out when the e-brake is set.  The problem is it doesn't show +12V when not set.  Can I still use this wire?  Should I run it through a relay to trick the alarm into seeing +12 Volts when it is supposed to?  Or is there a wire on the other side of the parking brake indicator light that I could use?  If so, what color is it and where is it located?  Thanks for any help.
