I am trying to install a remote starter/alarm on my 2004 GMC Sierra SLE.  This is the first one I have attempted to install. The question I have is on what wires do I hook to (color and location) on the truck to wire this and if I need any other components to bypass the pass II factory alarm system or any other components. Any help someone could offer would be appreciated.

if ths is your first alarm and remote start combo you have ever installed this is a complicated car u chose to do.the alarm part is not to complicated and the remote start part isn't too hard either but the part that i'm a little concerned about is the passlock . I personally think it's cake but for someone with out experience it can be pretty confusing and if it's not done right u can really create some problems with your vehicle....but i do believe there is a door lock interface that also controls passlock and the factory security system via the data link connectot under your dash u can probably obtain tthis interface at bypass.com                                                           Later,
