is there a factory reset on this alarm? if so how do you do it

if there isnt one, is there a way to set all the menu features back to their default like it came from the factory or do you have to go back through each menu feature and reset it to the default one by one?

i dont see a procedure on how to factory reset it in the owners manual or installation manual.

i was programming my alarm for the first time just trying to learn on how to do it and take advantage of a few features, but now it seems like everything is all weird.

i had no problems when it was reset to the default settings.

also say if there is a factory reset, would you have to tech the brain to learn tach, passlock, and such?

i got a 2003 cavalier

It can be done with a bitwriter. That will only reset remotes, you must have both remotes present if using this option, and other settings, not tach or passlock. The bitwriter can also easily just change settings to what ever you want them to be.
