Was wondering if anyone might be familiar with this alarm system.  I purchased an 04 Ford Explorer that is pre-wired for an alarm system.  I would like to just plug in the alarm without having to rewire the whole thing.  Is anyone familiar this plug on my alarm system?  Any help would be great!

I work for a dealer that has the similar kind of security system.  you cannot get this alrm as far as I know because it is made just for dealer use.  they all operate one one remote that all the salesmen carry, and it is just a keyless entry with a starter kill.

Thank you for the reply!  My dealer wanted to sell me the "alarm" for $500 bucks (no thanks!).  I looked behind the panel under the steering wheel and found that plug, along with a cut zip-tie where the module was once mounted .  There is also a valet switch on the foot panel on the driver's side.  I guess I was just thinking that I could replace the module that they took out with another one.  Doesn't hurt to try...

The plug pictured is the 24 pin main harness to the newer Code Alarm units. The new code alarm power code or the code alarm "Ford" units will work with that plug. The "cap" on the end is most likely to jump the starter wire together. It looks like you had an alarm previously installed in the vehicle that was removed for some reason. They don't install switches in the kick panel from the factory.. I could go right down the line and tell you the colors...

White - park lights output
Blue - Lock output
BLACK/ White - Dome supervision output
Red - main power input
black - ground
violet/red - starter key side
pink - ignition
violet - starter motor side
Brown - disarm input
yellow/white - 10k door trigger pullup
WHITE/ blue - arm input
green - unlock switch sense

That covers the side showing..

Thanks Mike!  Do you have a reccomendation on which Code Alarm unit to buy?  Is it possible for me to just plug in the unit and have it work without doing anything else?  Thanks again!

Hey Mike...one more question.  I found a Ford Alarm made by Code Alarm here:

https://www.powercallsirens.com/s4.htm

I think this is the same alarm that I would need.  What do you think?
