this is a used unit. and im more familar with the 561R as far as i can see its pretty similar. i dont have any paperwork for this unit. the 5 pin harness (red, pink, orange, purple, and yellow) is going to a set of relays. are the relays necissary to install the unit? the red is power, pink goes to ignition 1, orange hooks to accessory, purple goes to starter. so far is this correct? can someone help clearify???

check this link for install manual.

those wire are correct. DEI sticks w/ the same color code.
