Hi all,
I have a 2001 Tundra that didn't come with the factory alarm or keyless entry. Last spring I installed a Crimestopper RS900 remote starter w/ keyless entry. Its worked fine all summer, but now that the weather is getting colder the locks have stopped working right. When I push the button the lights blink so I know that the brain is getting the signal, but the locks don't pop. I can play with it by pushing lock and unlock until it finally works, and I even tried bumping the door to unlodge something(?). So far I can't pinpoint what the problem might be, but am leaning toward the colder temps causing some sort of binding. Has anyone else come acrossed a problem like this and what was your solution? Thanks.
The factory switch works fine, but thats after I open the door. It only acts up after it has sat for a while. I haven't checked that yet but will.
how did you wire up the door locks????

I don't have the child safety locks. I should add that before I bought the remote starter I had the crimestopper keyless entry system, only, installed and it worked fine for 2 years. When I installed the remote starter, I removed the keyless entry system and connected the new system to the same wires for the locks. So I'm sure its the right wires, but there could still be a bad connection.
