OK, My friend bought a security system off of ebay its a two-way alarm and remote starter and he gave it to me because he said he didnt want to pay to get it installed and im pretty good with wires. I install car stereo systems all the time but car security is new to me. I was looking around on this web site and i saw that i need to bypass my stock alarm system. If someone could give a direction to go like where the wires are located and all that the security system he gave me is a Innotek CX200 ive tried finding it online but nothing came up i have no idea why but i got the manuals and stuff but it doesnt really help when i dont know much about relays and PINs and all that so any help would be great. Thanks.

Whats the BCM and Like i ripped apart my dash and under my steering column and i even took off my drivers door panel and all i could find was the door lock/unlock wires and the trunk release wire because there are so many of the same colors and plus like the pink wire for remote starting i couldnt find i saw that there were two thick red wires one was solid and one was red with white stripe would i just put the red solid wire to the solid and the red and white striped one to the red and white striped one under the dash like i have the chart for wire colors but i dont know where to locate them and theres so many other that look the same and its kinda hard to get under my dash because its really tight in there how much wuold that passlock II cost me?
I think you are getting ahead of yourself...........
Most your connections will be at Steering Column and under Dash
Plan your install first.............Read Instructions, Read Vehicle wiring, ask questions and then proceed. PLAN PLAN PLAN..........
Use a Multi-Meter.......
PASS 2 should be $9.00 to 16.00 depending where U buy it.

Ok, How do i know which wires are which under the steering column theres so many of the same looking wires and i took apart the steering column and theres 6 wires coming from the ignition yellow, green, brown, red with white stripe, blue, i cant remember the other color but its not on the chart for wire colors only the yellow and red with white stripe was on the chart and i looked more under the column near the fuse box and i saw some thick wires that were all bundled together just like the new wires i got with the alarm is there any chance they could be some of the wires. I know i can do this i just need a way to figure out what wires not to touch and where the easiest location is to find the ones i need, i feel like an idiot because this stuff is so new to me are there any sites you could recommend to go to to get more answers in addition. Thanks.
