I put a Viper 941 in a 1999 Jeep. Everything went together great. The problem i am having is the transponder will not learn the remote buttons. The transmitter remote shows it is recieving a signal, but will beep with a no signal sign after the cherp. WTH! It is angering me.

Hmmm.... I am thinking this may be a 791XV??????  Perhaps??  Anyways, take the remote apart, and see if the daughter board has loose connections to the main board.  a 5 pin and a 3 pin connector.......

There was a recall on the white remotes for viper, and clifford. If that is the one you have send it in to DEI

yeah it's the 791. It has the carbon fiber clifford matrix transponder with it.
