the way u normally would except always leave the car in neutral unless ur familiar with mercury switches on each gear etc. and thjats if the vehicle permits it. an installer i work with has one on his tiburon and I have put one a 03 I think 03 jetta.. lol. just be careful and responsible. peace

what kind of car in that case? I have never needed to, but remember that a relay is actually more sufficient power and is always a safer bet.  Let me know what kind of car though. as far as which wires if its a 791xv your satelite relay box (with all your ignition, starter, and accessory wires) will hook up under steering column as normal, therefore you really shouldn't need the relay since its just a matter leaving the car in neutral with the parking brake..

DEI makes a adapter box so that you can use that starter/alarm on a standard vehicle. I cant rememeber the part number right now but just get a hold of that and you will be fine

You will require DEI part# 668M to put the 791, or any other DEI remote start product into a manual transmission car.
