To wire up the clutch bypass for a (+) set up with a SPDT relay to this: - 30 - To (+) input wire for clutch activation
- 87 - To 12 volts constant ( Fuse at 20 amps )
- 85 - Status output or ground out when running wire (-)
- 86 - Starter Output (+) from remote starter or from vehicle
- 87a - NOT USED

but do you really need the relay? i thaught all you had to do was run the start wire from the modual to the side of the clutch switch that swithces power to the starter? on a positive type that just inerupts the power.

You can if you want, bt some installer's want to isolate the clutch wire from the starter incase there's possible feedback from the starter wire to the clutch that will engage the clutch when you don't want it to be engaged. Some GM vehciles have a small current drain on the starter wire that can cause weird things to happen. ------------- Jeff

Do you have good insurance and a great lawyer ? Being the the US, there are alot of sue crazy people that want your money in lawsuits if you hurt them if the remote starter starts in gear. If the system isn't designed for a manual car, don't use it. Sell it and get a system that is meant for a manual. ------------- Jeff
