Going to put in a remote start in my Dodge Intrepid, but I don't know if I need a transponder or not. My key's rubber part is black, but I also have a factory keyless entry sytem. Does anybody know for sure?

If the key has a black head it does not need a bypass, if it had the grey key it would. I just did an 04, there not too bad to install on. I used a door lock interface thou...
