How did you get on with that diesel golf remote start post ???
Did you ever get it to work the way you wanted ???

He used a RPM booster, and got it going.

I should have clarified that it was a tach amplifier / booster.

Good news and bad news actually................. Got it working for a while, then the stupid remote start failed again, no start again. The tach programmed with the tach generator, but now that it's getting colder, the car won't turn over unless it's warm. The alternator doesn't produce enough current on it at idle when cold for the tach generator to pick up a decent signal and the remote start doesn't stay running.
