Doing a remote start/alarm in a 04 Jetta. The car has a turbo timer installed that keeps the ignition on for a few minutes after the switch is cut off. Need to know if there is anyway to lock the doors with the remote without arming the alarm after exiting the car and then having the alarm arm itself after the turbo timer shuts off. Hope that makes sense. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Don't use the turbo timer that you have got. USe an alarm that has a built in turbo timer. I have a clifford AG4 and thatdoes exactly what u need

If the aftermarket system that your installing has the Turbo timer option on it, it will keep the car running with the doors locked and will auto arm when the ignition system looses current in the wires.
