i am wanting to add a manual fuel cut off switch in my car but I still want the remote start to work. I know that it can work with a simple relay but I am unsure about how to hook the wires up. Basically this is what I want it to do: 1. If the remote start is used, then allow the vehicle to start regardless of position of the manual switch 2.If the key is used to start, then the manual switch will need to be set to "on" in order to allow fuel pump to get power. i am using a prestige aps996 alarm in a 5 speed car 94 civc ...wat do i have to do to do this thanks pm me or email me nycfinesteg@aol

Ok, your alarm should have a ground while start sire output, it is a BLACK / YELLOW in the harness located right next to the main harness. Get a regular relay and do this: 85 - 12v Ign Fused 86 - Inline a toggle swith and ground the wire, also hook up the BLACK / YELLOW wire right before the relay. Like this: 85 - _____________________ Togggle Swith ________________ BLACK / YELLOW hooked up to this side. 30 - one side of the fuel injection wire 87a - other side of the fuel injection wire Hope this helps. ------------- 2005 Toyota Corolla S

Umm, won't that open the fuel injection wire during a remote start procedure making it difficult for the vehicle to start during a remote start procedure? What he wants is basically a Normally Open Starter Kill (Diagram #2).
I emailed you some suggestions nycfinesteg.

Before, so you are going to have it like this: 85 - BLACK / YELLOW - Toggle swith First is the relay, then the BLACK/ yell wire is connected to it, and then the toggle swith. Let me know how it works out :) ------------- 2005 Toyota Corolla S
