now that i have everything done i want to hook up a trunk and hood trigger what i need to do for that i want to be able to set the alarm off if i open my trunk on a 97 grand am

For the hood you will need a hood pin switch and attach it to the (-) hood pin input of the alarm. The trunk pin you can grab at  the light in trunk and look for the ORANGE / black wire. THis is a (-) trigger and attach this to the (-) input for the trunk trigger. If you do not have a (-) trunk trigger input you can share the hood pin input but diode isolate the two wires from each other like this diagram show:
