Pulling the fuses will isolate the remote start from the picture for the weekend, what kind of truck and what kind of remote starter was installed??

There isn't much of a reason for the starter to be pulling any kind of draw (espesially that fast) unless there is an install issue or just a tits up remote starter. You can see if the remote starter is pulling a draw with an amp meter. It should pull very little if any when it isn't engaged. unless your willing to try to dig around under the dash, I would just pull the fuses and head over to the shop monday and beat the installer (or sales guy make him pay too)

Good luck

You likely have a bad install or a bad starter kill relay. Or both.

That or else they used the starter disable wire to activate the PATS bypass module. I've seen this alot in the past from other installer's and this causes alot of electrical grief for customer's.

The remote starter fuses will be under the dash somewhere, there is usually 2 of them, pull them both and go to your installer monday. all the above opinions definitly hold true..

Well you definitly have a big draw somewhere, On older vehicls you could start the car and pull the Pos. battery post, if the car stayed running the alternator is ok, if it stalled the alt. is shot . You can try it, but I don't know if it holds true. or get into your main fuse panel with an amp meter and find what ckt. it pulling a draw. I know you will find it that way...

Did the installer tell you that, because if he did I think he is full of sh*t. He probally did a poor job on something else and didnt want to tell you the real reason. Reason why I say this is because even if he some how "plugged it in wrong" I sont see how he possibly plugged it in so It was pulling 4 amps, and even so if it was pulling 4 amps that shouldnt kill the battery in 3 hours. There had to be something else
