Do you need to program the tach? I am not familiar with DEI much, but most units require the tach to be programmed.

ok well it turned out that the ground swtich thing was broken.. just plain out grounded it and it would try to start... cranked but just died.. even with the key int he ignition so its no that theres achip... the unit kept freaking out like tuning on and off as if the power and ground connection for the unit kept coming undone.. pulled the connetions from the plug attacahed them directly to the unit to their spot and the unit is still all messing up... think the units messed up?

well if u didn't use the tach wire you will have to program the unit for voltage sense. also make sure the ignitions wires are not backwards with ACC
