I have installed the CS-2011RS on my daughters 95 Civic LX and all works well except that some times when the alarm is armed the doors will not lock. Pressing the dissarm button the unlock does work every time even if the doors are not locked. Eventually after another or several subsequent attemts to arm and lock, the doors will lock. Anyone have any ideas as to the source or this problem?

sounds like a loose connection problem either on the connection you made or in the connector on the module.   the door is closed when you are trying to lock and arm it right?

Larkster,

You are correct, loose lock lead connection. After I posted I decided to look at the wiring. Figuring the two leads made a circuit is what had me baffled, not so, one is a lock lead and the other is an unlock lead and each will work with the other disconnected. So I tested the lock with one lead connected at a time, immediately I realized the problem and verified that my lock lead (green wire) was loose compared to my unlock lead (blue wire). I have made the appropriate correction, snuging up my lock lead connection and all appears good now.

Thank You for the response.
