I was working on an alarm remote start combo for my car. I ran into a couple of problems that hopefull someone can help me with.

1) The remote start would not turn over. Yes I used a universal learning bypass for the passlock II system. But I noticed that there is a third ign wire for this vehicle that I did not hook up. Would this be the cause of it not turning over or could it be something else.

2) Bypass factory alarm. What type of signal is required on this wire to bypass it during remote start or does it nedd to be bypassed?

3) Is there an easier way to get to the wires in the bcm on this vehicle? I notice that it was tucked under the far left side if the drivers dash and the wires are not the easyest to get to.

Thankyou,

You can get the bcm wires at the fuse panel on drivers side. Open the door and it is right there. It might be easier if you take the black cover off. You can get brake door triggers and locks right there. 12v lights at switch and trunk at switch. Power up the green and white ignition wires and orange acc wire. Factory alarm won't keep the car from starting, only the passlock 2 will.
