Hey all,

I am a computer nerd [lots of wiring experience] with some car audio/mechanics experience. I am planning on replacing the alarm system in my 1996 Honda Accord that died [relay stuck in the system- making the horn constantly sound].

My Honda had an Executive 3000 alarm system [by Omega Resarch], so some of the wires are pulled to a central location. It was a keyless entry/alarm system.

I found an Impule IMP4040 [and i can find no info for this on the web] that is a keyless entry/alarm/remote start system on eBay for a good price.

I have found the wiring on the12volt's site and it looks like it will help a bit.

Any suggestions with this car and/or alarm system? Has anyone heard of Impule Auto Security and do they know a web site for them?

Thanks,

Bruce

never heard of the impule auto security, but if you do decide to tackle it yourself, this group of people is the way to go.

Heh- well nevermind...

I mapped out all the wiring I needed to do on Thursday and I was planning to do the install today...

However, my car was stolen last night... Guess I will save this project to see if I get the car back or if I will use it in my next vehicle!

Later all,
