Hi, im installing a viper 791 in my prelude and im having trouble finding some of the wires. I have the diagram from this site and it says the door trigger is BLACK/ white at the factory alarm connector. I can't find this connector. I found a WHITE/ black wire at the bottom of the fuse box that is connected to the door trigger but im not sure if this is it. could someone give me a more detailed location of this harness. thanks

The only reason why i don't think thats it is because there should also be a RED / white and a GREEN/ orange and there isn't. are you sure thats the location of the factory alarm connector??

The alarm connector is GREEN with about 20 + wires in it. It will be hgh on the driver's side dash.

The alarm plug will most likely be taped up against another loom of wires high under the driver's dash area. There will most likely be blue tape holding it up there. Even if the Prelude didn't come with OEM security, the plug will still be there for you to access the power door lock wires.

why dont you just pull the door pannel off and trace the wire see what color it changes when it comes out from the door into the car and also another thing you can do is if you have dome light supervision you can probably use that wire pull out that door pin and see what color the wire is and go straight to the driverside fuse pannel and tap into that wire and that can be your door trigger i could be wrong but i am only trying to help you out giving you some ideas how to look for that wire i had some of those problems and eventually i had to go the extra step and try to figure it out the hard way i know for sure everything is on the driver side ------------- Kenny
