I need to use a relay for my keysense and don't want to wait for a DEI to be shipped to me.  There is a 30Amp SPST relay from Radio Shack (no 87A contact)  I am assuming I can use it since the 87A would be taped off anyhow.  Am I correct?  My connections would be as follows:

85: +12V   86:  input from (-)status output of remote starter relay  87:chassis ground, 30:output to keysense

Thanks.  can you offer any information on the keysense-I have been told I need to diode isolate one leg of the status output on my 562T with a relay, others said use it without, others said use the 2nd status output.
