I have a 94 Thunderbird with a code alarm installed by the ford dealer. I don't have the manual anymore and do not know how to correct this problem. The alarm will auto arm once the last door is closed upon exiting the vehicle but if the door is opened when armed the alarm is not triggered and no siren will sound. If you arm the system with remote after exiting and then open the door the alarm will sound. Is there some programming that needs to be done and how in order for the doors to be protected after the system auto arms?

How long do you wait after it arm itself before you open the door. May take 30 to 60 secs before it armed.
