There is no data bus in a 2000 honda accord the lock/unlock wires require a single negative pulse. The lock wire is BLACK/ blue the unlock wire is orange on the passanger side fuse box towards the bottom.

I need to know  the location of the databus wire, Because I don't want to burn out something. I don't think there is a way to test this wire with a meter right? Has anyone ever installed an interface on a 98-02 accord? If so let me know how you did it.

Thanks for the help

I have a 2000 Accord and used the:

BLACK/ WHITE = LOCK
GREEN/ RED = UNLOCK

There was a 2 pin connector at the fuse panel that was taped to the wires. You don't need a databus wire

in the pass side fuse box. green plug, the one on top
u can also find the tach and hood pin close by (in the the green plug just under the pass side fuse box
