Hi Installers:
I have a venture 99 with PK3, I installed a 555G but remote start does not work; I have posted this before I hope this time I can have a happy customer:
The PK3 module has these wires and info:

16255451 Software 9050 Pass key III
Delphi Delco Electronics
Puple
Dark Blue
Gray
Orange
Pink
Black

I have made the following connections according to 555G installation instructions:
PK3--------------------555g
Purple-----------------N/C
Dark Blue--------------Blue/Withe
Gray-------------------N/C
Orange-----------------N/C
Pink cutkey side-------Pink/Black
Pink cut Car side------Pink
Black------------------N/C
-----------------------RED to 12
-----------------------Black to ground
-----------------------Purple N/C
-----------------------Green KEY sense (-)
-----------------------Blue Remote (-) start to Alarm RS

When I try RS, the D. Blue wire goes to 4.0V then drops to 2.7V; when the key is used this wire goes to 4.0V then it drops to 2.6V. The 555G led blinks for 0.5 seconds when it receives the (-) on the blue wire from the Alarm RS output. At the beginnig I thought the problem was the 555G so got a new one and it makes the same sequence.
Any hint is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Mike (sabioundus)

Yes, it starts, however I have to move the key to the run possition, if it is only in the key cilinder it starts then shuts off after 3 to 5 seconds.

If you have to move the key to the run position you don't have an ignition wire hooked up or hooked up properly.

When it works you can insert the key into the ignition and it will remote start

I Just checked Ignition wires and all of them (pink, orange and white) have 12V before RS applies the starter (yellow).
I have installed Pass key I and Pass key II before using relays only without any problem, for this PK3 I am using the 555G and can not make it fly. Is there any trick using relays instead of the 555G?

you need to check and see if your pink or white is losing voltage during crank. these two wires cannot drop out or it will freak out your bypass and car.

I tell it like it is...

Verified pink and white wires and 12V is always present during cranking.

Thanks.
