Hello,

Have a customer with a Porsche Cayenne.  Installed a Hornet 732T with a 508D sensor.  All he is trying to do is pretty much a warn away, if someone gets a little close.  He would like to protect the front end by the hood emblem also, seems the kids like those these days.  At present, it doesn't have protection in that area.  Was thinking of placing it up in headliner (in front of sunroof).  If it doesn't offer the protection i'm looking for, has anyone installed two sensors with any success.  Was thinking of one directly under the emblem on a metal plate of some type, with the sensitivity turned down.  Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, most perimeter sensors are eliptical. If you move the sensor closer to the front of the car, it will eventually get to the front of the hood area.
