Hi,

I've been browsing these forums for a long time and they have been a great help.

I recently installed a crimestopper cs-2011rs  on my olds and the unit is not giving and door pulses to the locks, I'm wondering if anyone ran into this problem before.   I've installed a few of these and never ran into this.  Maybe defective?

Thanks guys.

Pimp

Ooops, sorry.    The module is not giving any door pulses.   when the system is armed its supposed to give a .75 12v pulse on the blue wire to trigger the door locks, its not doing it.  same with the green wire for unlocking.

Where are you reading this +12v .75 sec pulse on blue/green trigger wires ?

Crimestoppers come by default with negative pulses on the blue/green wire. It comes with a third red wire along with the blue and green wire which carries 12v to power a relay so you can convert the negative pulses to positive as needed.. Look at the attached diagram..

Never mind. I read the updated rev B manual for RS-2011 IV unit. you should indeed get a 12v pulse on the blue for lock and/or negative pulse on the same wire for unlock. If it does not work, looks like the alarm brain took a wrong turn somewhere. Call up crimestopper support. see if there is a jumper or dipswitch that is a hidden setting that might reset..they'll replace the unit for you if needed. I would try one simple thing..a whole system reset... Try it and post back with results..
