Has anyone ever installed a remote start on a 2000 Grand Am.  We tried today and it shuts right off after starting.  I was told it cant be done.  If it can be will someone please tell me how of show a diagram.  Thanks.

The 2000 Grand Am has a Passlock II anti-theft system that you have to bypass, otherwise the car won't stay running or won't even start. You will need a bypass module installed to make the remote starter work on this car. If you need one please email us and we can have one sent  to you ASAP.
