I am installing a commando fm-870 a/rs system in a 98 gmc sierra. I am having trouble locating the 3 wire passlock ribbon cable and the nuetral safety switch wire(I believe it is yellow). Is droping the steering column required to access these wires?

any help is appreciated tmon

there isn't a ribbon cable, you are looking for 3 20awg wires with the ignition harness, yellow, ORANGE / black and RED / white
