I recently got a vehicle with a Karr system installed from the dealer. I believe it is the 2040 since I am using the Karr 3-button remote. Anyway what I want to do is install a remote starter system in this vehicle. Is there any recommended remote starter system to use with an existing alarm system and would it simply be activated using the 3rd channel output on the Karr remote? Only other question I have is will I have to disarm the alarm and then activate the remote start or is there some other way to do it that I am missing. Thanks a lot for any help you can provide.

You can use the (-)trunk release wire (blue) on the main wiring harness to trigger an external remote start module.
