u can set the Driver Information Center to recall the seat position with one of 3 settings:

1)RECALL OFF (by default)
2)RECALL AT KEY IN
3)RECALL ON REMOTE

now for my problem:
installed a starter on an 03 envoy everything works fine
except for the personal recall settings by the key
i used a GMDAA as the bypass

1)the buttons on the door work fine and recall the both drivers
2)the remotes work fine if setting 3 is programed (see above)
3)if setting 2 is programed the truck doesn't reconize the different keys (custumer says it did b4 the starter was but it)

does anyone know a fix for this or how to program each key to each driver settings.

thanks for any help

if i'm not mistaken these are designed to recognize the remote transmitter, not the key

thats funny.... i'm pretty sure at key in for my Envoy means the seat adjusts when it sees the key sense triggered...or by remote.....   so if you programmed easy access exit ( the seat slides all the way back when you cycle the ign off ) then either the seat slides forward when you unlock the doors with the appropriate transmitter or when the key is slid into the ign.......

i need the car to respond to each repect keys as driver 1 and driver 2, which its not doing since the remote starter was installed

when it means remote or key it's still based on remote, one adjusts setting as soon as you unlock the doors, the other when you insert the key in the cylinder.

GMDAA does do driver recognition, but the GMDLBP does.

so if the guy is not using his factory remotes anymore the car can't tell between the two different keys and there respect drivers

am i in the right track

The car can still recognize the keys, but it will not even try to recognize them if the remote starter has started the car, since the bypass is what is being recognized at the time the engine starts, then the computer doesnt expect a different key to be inserted so it doesn't even check for a different key.

mmm, the car has no way to tell the difference between the key's, just the RF code the FOB's transmit. I have tryed this with an 03 envoy today.. unlock door with keys and start with key, seats and mirrors do nothing
