Im going to be doing a alarm/remote start in a 99 Dodge Ram and had some questions about the Door Lock/Unlock...
On here, it says that the Door Lock is a reverse polarity... While on Directtechs.com it shows both the unlock/lock wires as a 5 wire system.... I was to understand these are different wiring diagrams..... I am going to be using a crimestopper Cs2011Rs if that helps, can anyone tell me what actual diagram to use to wire the power door locks?
Thanks

Directechs says that they are positive lock and 5 wire unlock. Just 5 wire both lock and unlock and be done with it. Much easier and you dont have to worry about wiring it wrong. Hope that helps.

reverse polarity and 5 wire mean the same thing, you can use this diagram. https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#5w ------------- 2005 Toyota Corolla S

If the truck has a factory alarm, you can grab locks at the CTM (central timer module) it's right of the steering column. 1 wire (light GREEN/ orange) 644 ohms to lock, 1500 to unlock (two pulses) negative.
